Furniture for Boutique Hotels
Full FF&E produced in our Bali workshop and delivered by container. Bedroom sets, outdoor furniture, restaurant fit-outs, managed as a single project from brief to installation.
The hotel furniture challenge
What European suppliers can't solve at boutique scale.
Boutique hotels face a specific sourcing problem. They need the material quality and design coherence of a high-end furniture supplier, but not the minimum order volumes, six-month lead times, or pricing structures built for large-format hospitality chains. European joinery workshops rarely take hotel projects under 200 pieces. Contract furniture manufacturers offer catalogue products with limited customisation.
The workshop in Dalung was built around exactly this scale. A 30-room hotel representing 100–150 pieces is a full production run for his team, significant enough to justify every stage of the process, small enough to maintain direct oversight at each one. The economics of Bali production mean that full bespoke manufacture at this scale competes with European catalogue pricing.
The operational model is straightforward: one point of contact from brief to delivery, production documented at every stage, sea freight managed as part of the service. No freight forwarder coordination on your side. No supplier chasing. One container arrives. It contains everything.
What we deliver
Bedroom furniture
Bed frames, bedside tables, desks, wardrobes, luggage racks, lounge chairs. All produced to the same specification across every room, we document tolerances and finish references to ensure consistency in production run 60 as in room 1.
Outdoor & pool terrace
Sun loungers, terrace chairs, outdoor dining tables and side tables. Material specification driven by your climate: UV-coated rattan, A-grade plantation teak with natural oil, marine-grade hardware for island and coastal properties.
Restaurant & bar
Dining chairs, tables, bar stools, banquette frames. Commercial-grade construction — the joinery team builds restaurant furniture to a different structural specification than bedroom pieces, accounting for the mechanical stress of daily hospitality use.
Stone & architectural elements
Volcanic stone (Paras) bathroom basins, shower platforms, feature wall panels. Stone pieces are individually crated, photographed, and mapped to installation drawings. We coordinate structural load assessments before production.
Custom millwork
Reception desks, bar counters, built-in wardrobe frames, headboard walls. Designed in collaboration with your interior architect, produced in the joinery atelier. Site measurements taken remotely from architect drawings and photographs.
Sustainability documentation
FSC chain-of-custody certificates, SVLK (Indonesian timber legality) declarations, zero-harvest reclaimed timber records, material composition sheets. Full dossier suitable for Green Key, Travelife and similar certification audits.

Why Bali sourcing works for hotels
Bali's furniture industry developed around hospitality. The island has hosted boutique hotel development for thirty years, and the craft infrastructure , teak joinery, rattan weaving, stone carving, upholstery, grew alongside it. The result is a concentration of skill that has no equivalent in European furniture manufacturing at this price point.
The workshop was founded in Dalung after years of training under Balinese master craftsmen. It specialises in hospitality-grade production: the structural requirements of commercial furniture, the documentation requirements of international certification bodies, and the logistical requirements of container shipping to ports worldwide.
The cost advantage over European manufacture is real but not the primary argument. The primary argument is that you can commission fully bespoke furniture , designed for your specific property, built from materials with verified provenance , at a price point that European suppliers cannot reach for custom work at boutique volumes.

Hotel project questions
What's the minimum order for a hotel project?
We work with projects starting at approximately 40–50 pieces, typically a hotel from 15 rooms upward. Smaller properties are welcome; the economics of container shipping simply work better at a certain volume. We'll give you an honest assessment during the initial call.
Can you match an existing furniture specification?
Yes. If you have existing pieces from another supplier and need to add rooms or replace worn stock, send us photographs and dimensions. Our team can reverse-engineer the construction and produce matching pieces. We'll flag any material substitutions clearly.
How do you handle FF&E consistency across a large order?
Every piece in a hotel order is built against a documented specification, timber grade, finish reference, tolerances, hardware. We photograph each piece against a reference board before packing. Dimensional QC is logged per production batch. Consistency is not a promise, it's a process.
What certifications can you provide for eco-certified properties?
We can provide FSC chain-of-custody certificates for certified timber, zero-harvest declarations for reclaimed teak, SVLK (Indonesian timber legality) documentation, and material composition sheets for upholstery. Our documentation was accepted by Green Key auditors for a client project in Comporta, Portugal.
How far in advance should a hotel project be commissioned?
For a full FF&E fit-out of 50–200 pieces, allow 14–18 weeks from design sign-off to delivery on site. This accounts for 8–12 weeks of production and 4–6 weeks of sea freight plus customs clearance at your destination. Projects commissioned with less lead time are sometimes possible, contact us and we'll be direct about what's achievable.
Do you handle outdoor hotel furniture?
Yes. Pool terrace furniture, sun loungers, outdoor dining sets and terrace chairs are a significant part of our hotel work. We specify materials appropriate to your climate, UV-coated rattan for direct sun, A-grade plantation teak for exposed outdoor conditions, marine-grade finishes for coastal and island properties.
